NOTE: Listed as 12.25" gauge, but nominally 12" as it ran for many years at the 12" Ruislip Lido Railway. In reality today the flanges are too fine and the gauge to narrow for most 12/12.25" gauge lines
No.1 Prince Edward ran at the Ruslip Lido Railway from 1945 to 1959. In 1967 it moved to the Olican Railway at Ilkley, Yorkshire, then in 1973 to Littlehampton, where the wheels proved too narrow for the track. A more successful stay at Butlins Bognore Regis followed. In 1990 it was retired and is now looked after by Ken Bean in Surrey
